Casa Cuatro-Three bedrooms- Villa Sirena of Las Villas Mar Y Sol

Casa Cuatro has a nice exterior welcome that includes one private parking space in front of the home.  (Additional vehicles are asked to park outside the gates of the community).

The tropical plants in the entry are a colorful accent to the white walls of the buildings.  There, at the beginning of that long wall, you'll see the glass door entrance to La Cabana.  This is the attached optional guest’s house with its own private entrance.  There is a curtain on the inside of La Cabana door for privacy.  The proximity of the doors are convenient when renting both homes or both homes plus the guest house.

(See details about La Cabana to consider adding this bedroom to your rental).

Casa Cuatro’s beachfront patio adjoins that of Casa Tres’ beachfront patio, which makes the pair perfect for large families who are looking to be together yet not in the same home.

When each home is separately rented, there is privacy for both sides inside and we’ve made sure you have privacy outside as well.  There is a temporary divider on the outside patio, which can easily be opened to allow easy passage between both homes and their patios or closed to provide privacy.

The floor plans are very similar.  Casa Cuatro opens up into a small foyer with a half bath on the side.  There is a step down into the living area where you see the breathtaking view of the ocean, through the dining and living room glass windows.

The dining room, to the left comfortably sits six guests.  There is a Mexican rustic hutch with decorative carvings.  There is a very large mirror on the dining room wall overlooking the patio and beach area.  This mirror creates the illusion of a larger, more spacious room.  The reflection in the mirror, depending on the angle that you look, allows guests to enjoy a beach and ocean view from many points in the room.

The living room, dining room, and kitchen are on the first floor, with a half-bath off the entrance hall. Stairs lead from the entrance hall lead to the second floor landing.

The living room has two large feather stuffed couches and is styled in the Mexican rustic decor.  The closeness of the dining room makes it easy to turn a few chairs around to face the television if there are more than four guests at a time watching.  There is a Mexican hand carved coffee table, and side tables as well. The painting over the wall of the Mexican patio courtyard is an original from a Cuba artist who can’t be mentioned due to the fact that he illegally sold his paintings to outsiders.

The sliding glass doors open from the dining area onto the beachfront patio and swimming pool area.   The patio is furnished with a table and chairs that overlook the pool, patio and beach.  The proximity of the pool to the patio is convenient when you have children.  They can play while you sit at the table comfortably next to them.

The green grass is just on the other side of the pool, where children are free to run and play.  Guests also have comfortable lounge chairs for sun bathing.  Guests are allowed to drag them down to the beach during use, but we ask that you return them, back onto the grass area, as soon as you are not using them any more.

The kitchen of Casa Cuatro is a slight mixture of Mexican rustic and modern touches.  The appliances you are familiar with are there.  You’ll find the coffee maker, blender, toaster, microwave, and all the pots and pans you need.

The second story has two bedrooms and two bathrooms.  The landing on the second story leads to these bedrooms, the bathroom and has another balcony on the front of the house.

The master bedroom has a king size bed, private dressing area, and adjacent, private bathroom with a shower.  The authentic Mexican hand carved headboard of the back of a girl carrying a large arrangement of lilies and the intricate design of the side tables and dresser is a unique display of Mexican talent and wood craftsmanship.

The second bedroom on this floor has a king size bed and the private bathroom is across the hall.  This bedroom is a cozy fit but with a spectacular view of the ocean as you wake up.

Both second story bedrooms share an ocean view balcony overlooking the swimming pool and green grass yard laced with coconut trees.  The sight of the mainland is very clear on most days.

The third story bedroom has two single beds and a compact bathroom.  This bathroom has a sink within the shower area, convenient for the space allowed in the bathroom.  There is a ladder beside the bathroom door, leading to a small loft.  This loft is a perfect size for another single bed.   This is ideal for another child or teen.  An adult can sleep here but it is not a bedroom, just a bed and a window with the beautiful ocean view.

Casa Cuatro has central air conditioning through out the house, wireless internet, cable Sony TV and DVD player.  There is a small stereo with CD player and tape player as well as radio.

The Swimming Pool

Casa Tres and Casa Cuatro share a swimming pool with an infinity edge that overflows onto a tiny pool lining the whole length, creating a soft waterfall sound to enjoy.  The swimming has a shared pump and circulation system.

The swimming pool length goes across both properties’ views.  The only time you really see the guests on the other side of the wall is when you swim the pool's length.  The dividing wall and the sliding door provide a screen to separate your patio and pool area and their patio and pool area.

The outside of the swimming pool has a concrete ledge surrounding the pool on all sides, except the infinity edge, that faces the ocean.  This is a perfect seat area for guests while they chat with others on the patios.  There is an assortment of furnishings and potted plants to make your outside space feel like home!

The inside rectangle of the swimming pool has a seating area underneath the water.  The depth of the water is less than two feet, perfect for small children to hang on to the edge and play.   Please chaperone all children at all times as there is no lifeguard on duty.

The Exterior

The Villas Mar y Sol sits on the San Juan Beach shoreline  The homes were built sitting back, about 45 feet away from the beach.

Between the homes and the beach are attractive plantings in a verdant lawn, just the thing for playing games, sun bathing, or just getting the sand off the feet as one walks back from the beach.  The view of green grass lawn adorns the view of the ocean as you look at, just as it accents the foreground of the homes as you look at them from the beach.

The views are wonderful, especially in the evenings and sunset.  After dark, the lights of the cruise ships brightly reflect themselves on the water.

Dolphins are sighted often just before a storm comes in. At first they look like pointed waves and then you’ll realize that there are a pod of them.

There is no better way to start your day than to wake up to see this view!

Please note that there is parking space for only one car per unit.  Guests are asked to park outside the community, along the service road if you have more than one car.   Blocking the entrance drive in any form may inconvenience your neighbors and we don’t want to do that!

Please ask all visitors to use the outside service road when they come to visit.

Common Area Passage Way

The grass covered passageway between Casa Cinco (left in photo) and Casa Cuatro (right) is the private access to the ocean for homeowners, registered guests or maintenance only.  (The public beach access is located in the Country Club Estates a mile farther north on the same coastline).   No one else will be allowed to come into the community to have access to the beach via this locked gate.

Casa Cuatro’s beach access is off of the patio, towards the beach access pathway.  This path between Casa Cuatro and Casa Cinco is the beach access for home owners or workers but is not a public access and should not be used as such.  We have provided keys for the guests to have access in and out.  Only registered guests and home owners have access to use the passage way.  We have two chairs and a small table in the passage for the Cabana’s guests to use.  This offers those guests a chance to enjoy the ocean view, while they sit in their own outside area, and maintain everyone’s privacy.

Casa Cuatro is the one directly south of the passage way to the beach shown in the photo as the pink one, which is now actually white.

This passageway is private, to be used only owners or registered guests.  There are chairs and a table in the private area of the passage for La Cabana guest’s use. Since La Cabana can be rented separately we have made a nice outdoor area for their use.  La Cabana has no ocean view but with this passageway being used as a sitting area, it give them an outdoor space to enjoy that is private and not in the view of beachfront guests.

The patio of Casa Cuatro can be accessed easily from this passage way.  There is a small rock step to get from the patio to the ocean and back.  There is a large hedge of greenery growing on that side of the pool to provide a hedge of hibiscus greenery.

The Beach & Surrounding Areas

The San Juan Beach begins directly in front of these villas, and continues across the beaches of the Melia Paradissus Hotel, continuing across the beachfront beaches of private homes in the Cozumel Country Club Estates and northward to the Passion Island.  This natural beach consists of natural a few natural rock outcrops and white sand beaches.  The beach is constantly through out the year and from year to year. Seasonally, there may be seaweed along this same shore from here to Passion Island. The sand is fine white sand and easy to walk on.

With these homes’ location next to the Paradissus Hotel on the north and a short walk down the beach towards the south to the Cozumeleño Hotel, these homes provide the advantage of having your own home away from home with virtual privacy in an exclusive residential niche. Both of the hotels are all inclusive so you don't see much traffic along the shoreline.  Guests can make their own arrangements to have day passes which allow guests to enjoy the hotel's facilities.  You can do this with any all inclusive hotel.  We do not offer the passes through our company but invite you to inquire with the individual hotel once you arrive if you so desire.

The beach is a natural beach, allowing for long beach walks.  There are some rock outcrops directly in front of the house, and an almost always, sandy entrance, wide enough for beach access for the whole family.

Super Kite Boarders Accommodations

The beach beginning directly in front of this community and for the following few miles to the north are called Kite Beach.  This new exciting sport is the sport of the future.  For guests who have athletic teens traveling with them, these homes are perfect.  Your teens can walk toward the north, on the other side of the community north of the Melia Paradissus, to get lessons and learn to either wind surf or kite board.  They can also meet a lot of really nice kids from the island that frequent the beach.  The sport is just now catching on world wide.  Cozumel is one of the best places in the world with perfect winds, to kite.

The Mexico Kite Board Tournament was held in Cozumel along this stretch of beach in Nov. 2007.  The Villas Mar y Sol was filled with kite boarders from all over that week.  This location is ideal for kite boarders and their families.

A 17 year old local, Cozumeleño boy won Number two National Champion.  Adam Withington, Congratulations!

The Country Club Golf Course

The new Cozumel Country Club Golf Course is a great attraction to the island as well as these homes.  The entrance is less than a mile to the north of the entrance to the Villas Mar y Sol.  The course was designed and endorsed by Jack Nickolaus .  Guests are invited to enjoy this sport and the restaurant inside the property.
