The beautiful five-bedroom penthouse is located on top of Cozumel´s tallest building. The building is considered completed this year 2002 (with a few interiors pending), this new high-rise building is the home of this penthouse, The Gem. Guests will enjoy the unique views of the island in all directions. The entrance into the condominium is near the staircase. Just beyond that, the view opens up into the main story living area. That living area has a floor-to-ceiling window that is more than 20-feet high with a great view of the blue ocean waters and color-filled sunsets. All the floors of the penthouse are beautiful beige marble, complimenting the elegant window accents.
The L-shaped living room couch faces out to the window, creating an area for viewing the cruise ships as they pass by, night and day. You will enjoy the natural colors of the blue ocean and colorful sky. You can see the mainland from here easily.
The second-story landing also has a living room couch and a balcony overlooking the downstairs living room glass wall. This glass wall shows a cute little one-man balcony on the outside of the master upstairs bedroom. Looking down, one can see the balcony on the main story off the living room, through the two-story glass wall that faces the sea.
There is a small studio with an ocean view on the main floor as well. There is a single trundle bed that serves as the couch in the daytime. This is not considered a bedroom, just a get-away place.
Two bedrooms are on the main floor and another three are upstairs.
Each bedroom is beautifully decorated, spacious and very comfortable. There are two bedrooms with a king size bed each, two bedrooms with one standard bed each, and one with two standard beds. There is a large dining room that sits as many as 12 very comfortably. The kitchen is in a separate room. Each bedroom has its own bathroom.
The master bedroom is a long large room with a sitting area near the window overlooking the ocean. There are five bedrooms, each with their own bathroom. The master bathroom is very large with a twoperson jacuzzi and two-person shower and more.
The second bedroom has a completely different beautiful view of the tropical jungle overlooking the area deep into the island. The balcony view is pure jungle of Cozumel, and even shows you a glimpse of the Cozumel Golf Course. There is a king-size bed and private bathroom with shower.

The third story is one large all enclosed room, two sides of which are all glass and large L-shaped patios. One can easily see the beautiful shoreline of Cozumel, all the way from as far south as the piers and as far north as Passion Island and the edge of the northern point. One can see a lot of the golf course and a disappearing horizon of green jungle. The views from all the bedrooms are fantastic.
There are a lot of stairs, mezzanines and balconies so children must be under strict supervision if they are guests. The winding stairs from the first to the third story is made of marble and has a beautiful wrought-iron balcony. The stairs to the third story are a small aluminum spiral staircase. The elevator takes you from the street level to the entrance of the penthouse. There is no internal elevator.
The common area offers a variety of choices on areas of sunbathing and getting wet. There is a pool, jacuzzi and ocean to enjoy. There are many ways to enjoy the ocean. These condos have a salt-water swimming pool with a never-ending edge. There is a patio area with nice furniture, lounge chairs and a man made beach area as well. The reefs are full of beautiful color and can be seen from any of the upstairs floors. The building has a security guard and private parking for a few cars. If you want to be in style on your vacation, then this is the Gem of a home for you!
