Located in San Miguel about four blocks from the town square and two blocks from the ocean is this very nice two-bedroom house. Casa Tropical has an interesting door of textured glass and mirrors. The designer of the house designed concrete molds to look like bricks instead of cement blocks. The house has Brazilian architecture — very open spaces, lots of long windows to the floor. The natural Mayan decor is mixed with macrame, rock, and wood.
On the ground floor are the living/dining room, study area, small bar area, half-bath, and kitchen. There is a patio off the kitchen which overlooks the gardens.

The upstairs has two bedrooms (double beds), bathroom with shower off the hall, and a balcony off each bedroom.

On the Casa Tropical grounds is a guest bungalow. It has a living area with sofa-bed, a bathroom, and a wall-unit kitchen separated from the living area by a bar.
