The upstairs and downstairs share identical floor plans with both having a kitchen, dining area, living room, three bedrooms and two bathrooms. All bedrooms have either king-size beds or twin beds that can be made into king-size.
The ground level has a nicely landscaped yard with a large patio area. The side yard contains the fresh-water swimming pool for guests to enjoy. The pool is accessible through the yard making it easy for guests both upstairs and downstairs.
Garden and pool-edge at Hunab-Ku
The location of this house is in the heart of the local community in Cozumel. It's across the street from a government-sponsored garden giving the upstairs guests a nice view of the garden's plantings and fountain.
This home is air-conditioned and also has ceiling fans throughout the house. There is a nice cross breeze of natural ventilation. The decor is simple and comfortable.
Here, in the heart of town, you'll enjoy the street vendors that sell fresh fruits and vegetables. The "panadero", which is the bakery on wheels passes by every evening. Cheese, tamales, and other street vendors offer their goods straight from their kitchens. The neighborhood is a happy and safe place, alive with families, children, and their pets. There is a mixture of homes from all economic levels in the neighborhood which is typical of many neighborhoods in Mexico. It's a home you are sure to enjoy during your visit in Cozumel.
Car rental is recommended although there is a main road about three blocks away where taxis are accessible. No phone.
